Community Educator Lab: Mobilizing CTE Students as Tutors
Join a small cohort of schools eager to build the blueprint for integrating tutoring into field experiences.
The Community Educator Lab involves a combination learning, strategy development and pilot program for schools to design and test new ideas for supporting student success. In this program, Education Professions and Early Childhood Education educators who are eager to integrate tutoring experiences into their field experiences will build the blueprint for this integration. Through the learning and design cycle, educators will participate in a collaborative design process to develop and launch tutoring experiences as a component of their field experiences.
- Who? This event is designed for Education Professions and Early Childhood Education educators who are eager to integrate tutoring experiences into their field experiences.
- What is the format? The first 4 Wednesday sessions are virtual, while the last session will be in-person at the FFCLA State Leadership Conference on April 2 in Tucson, AZ, where participants will present their plan.
- What is the cost? There is no cost to attend this event.
Educators will receive a stipend of $50 per session attended, potentially earning a $250 stipend. Participants must have their CTE Director’s approval to participate.
