Assess your system readiness for team-based models

Join the Next Education Workforce™ System Readiness workshop series to identify your level of system readiness for team-based strategic school staffing models and access tools to plan for and support change. 

  • Who: Systems-level leaders
  • When: This two-part series meets on both Jan. 28 and Feb. 5. Register for this series to gain access to both sessions.
  • Time: 11–1 p.m. PST | 12–2 p.m. AZ | 2–4 p.m. EST
  • Format: Two, 2-hour virtual workshops with work between sessions
  • Cost: $2,000 per system-level team of up to eight
  • Registration prerequisite: Attendance at either an Arizona Site Visit or Explore Experience

      Note: Each group will need a leader for this workshop series who will register all group members, lead teamwork throughout the learning experience and plan with the team ahead of and in between the Next Education Workforce-led sessions.

      Frequently asked questions

      Depending on your system size, we recommend you register a team of 3–8 system-level leaders with expertise or experience in various areas, as doing so will best equip you to make informed decisions about how your system engages in this transformative change. Areas of expertise or experience to consider include: 

      • District leadership and decision-making
      • Teaching and learning 
      • Human resources 
      • District-wide communication and stakeholder engagement
      • Union/association perspective 

      Please note: Each group will need a leader for this workshop series who will register all group members, lead teamwork throughout the learning experience and plan with the team ahead of and in between the Next Education Workforce-led sessions.

      During these workshops, participants will identify and cultivate system readiness by:

           ✓ Mapping current system readiness against a set of criteria

           ✓ Developing a plan to increase system readiness

           ✓ Developing a high-level implementation strategy

           ✓ Developing a plan to engage community and schools in the move towards implementation

      Yes, attendance at either an Arizona Site Visit or Explore Experience is required before attending System Readiness.
