Igniting the world’s most important profession

The Next Education Workforce requires pathways into and through the profession to attract educators, increase retention and drive better learning outcomes.

At the systemic level, we should develop a workforce with a wider array of educational skills and areas of expertise. At the individual level, we should empower educators to deepen their knowledge and sharpen their practice in areas of their choice that address learner needs in their communities. We should create more ways for people to become educators and more ways for educators to become effective organizational and systems leaders.
